Monarch Metamorphosis

This metamorphosis occurred during the month of August in east central Ohio. The caterpillar hung in the "J" position for 19 hours before beginning to transform. Steps 3-7 occurred in less than 10 minutes. Steps 11-14 occurred in less than 6 minutes. This entire metamorphosis took place in 13 days, 17 hours. Imagine - from worm to flying wonder in less than two weeks! What a marvellous creation. What an incredible Creator! "All things were made by Christ and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life and the life was the light of men." John 1:3-4
