To keep daylily
foliage looking
nice, cut it all the
way to the
ground
immediately
after flowering.
(If you have a lot
of daylilies, try
using a hacksaw;
it works great!)
In a couple of
weeks it will
sprout new
spring-like
foliage that will
remain lush until
frost.
