"Our Savior forms each butterfly, a
living jewel in the sky. Each a
treasure to behold - more precious
than the finest gold."

Butterflies
"God makes jewels in the night-
on emerald wings they take their flight.
Sometimes He shares the wondrous sight:
A luna moth at my porch light."

Moths

"A gleaming warrior in the sky
On crystal wings each dragonfly,
With eyesight keen and armor bold,
Patrols the kingdom of his Lord."

Dragonflies
"The caterpillar is a lowly creature,
bound to the earth and lightly esteemed.
Yet through the Lord's transforming
power, it shall reach new heights it
could never have dreamed."

The Caterpillar
"We cherish flowers because of their
unsurpassed beauty and fragrance.
We receive flowers in times of celebration
and love - in times of sorrow and grief.
The Lord created flowers because He
knew how desperately we needed them."

Flowers
"God gives not vibrant color to a spring leaf
newly born. For first it must be tested by
wind and drought and storm. God sustains
through every trial and when the victory's
won, He gives each leaf glorious color - as if
to say "well done".

Winter Treasures

"Winter is the season for glowing
Christmas trees,
and Cardinals at my feeder
in search of precious seeds.
For holly berries nestled
in shining leaves of green,
And festive wreaths with crimson bows
adorned with special things.
So many wondrous treasures,
all lovely to behold -
Yet each becomes more glorious
when touched by winter's snow."
